The Church of Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph will hold their annual OLG NiteFest and FunFest on Saturday June 2nd, 2012 and Sunday June 3rd, 2012 at Church Square Park in Hoboken. Below is an introduction and the brief itinerary…
“The Church of Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph in Hoboken announce the schedule for the seventh annual “FunFest.” The community event will open with “NiteFest” on Saturday, June 2nd from 6 – 10 p.m. in the OLG Church parking lot, and “FunFest” will take place on Sunday, June 3rd from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. in Church Square Park on Willow Avenue between Fourth and Fifth Streets.
“NiteFest” will include a biergarten, Spanish cuisine, prepared by St. Joseph’s parishioners, kid-friendly food and live entertainment including the Sinatra Idol and Hoboken favorite Singer Eric DeLauro. DeLauro is the award-winning singer-vocalist of Frank Sinatra Tribute/Rat Pack Music.
The “FunFest” will include children’s activities and rides such as face painting, pony rides, an inflatable slide, a bounce house, crafts and games. There will also be a cotton candy booth, DJ, puppeteer and balloon animals.
A key feature on Sunday will be a performance by Caldwell, NJ’s Baze and His Silly Friends, award-winning musicians specializing in children’s rock. They write and perform songs, which encourage children to use their imagination.
The Festival committee is currently accepting applications for event sponsors as well as vendors from area restaurants, retailers, non-food vendors and non-profit organizations. Vendors who refer a vendor will receive a 15% discount on their application fee. Our Lady of Grace Church
Welcoming, accepting and diverse, Our Lady of Grace is a part of the Archdiocese of Newark within the Catholic Community. The parish of Our Lady of Grace, one of the oldest in the United States, was founded in 1851. The existing church structure was erected circa 1878 and is considered one of the first to be built in the German Gothic style and is the largest church in Hoboken. NiteFest on Saturday, June 2nd 6pm-10pm:
The event hosted by The Church of Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph will take place at the OLG church parking lot on Willow Avenue, between Fourth and Fifth streets, from 6 to 10 p.m.
The bash will feature a biergarten, Spanish cuisine, kid-friendly food and live entertainment. Sinatra Idol and Hoboken favorite Eric DeLauro will bring his magic to this special evening.
FunFest Sunday June 3rd, 11am –7pm:
